WHO database lists more than 4.91 million reports of adverse reactions after Covid vaccination
The World Health Organisation’s VigiBase now lists 4,919,204 reports of adverse events following Covid vaccination, including 24,302 deaths (listed under ‘General disorders and administration site conditions’). There is a separate listing of 2,215 reports of sudden death.
A total 296,762 reports are about cardiac disorders, 224,377 are about vascular disorders, and 213,674 are about blood and lymphatic system disorders.
There are 261,405 reproductive system and breast disorders listed and 13,096 reports of “pregnancy, peurperium (postpartum), and perinatal conditions”.
There are 7,328 reports of Guillain-Barré syndrome, 11,506 reports of Bell’s palsy, 16,475 cases categorised as facial paralysis, and 4,777 reports of facial paresis.
A total 27,555 cases of myocarditis are listed along with 22,633 cases of pericarditis and 3,311 cases of myopericarditis.

EudraVigilance
EudraVigilance now lists 2,208,662 adverse reaction cases reported after the administration of Covid vaccines in Europe. The data is up to February 18.
The database lists 1,202,514 individual cases up to February 18 for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine tozinameran. Most are from Germany (213,200), followed by France (127,813), and the Netherlands (125,618).
A total 5,878 cases are listed for the Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent booster vaccine (tozinameran, riltozinameran) that targets the original strain of SARS-CoV-2, which is no longer circulating, and the Omicron BA.1 subvariant, which has been de-escalated by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control. Most cases are from the Netherlands (2,121), followed by Belgium (370), and Germany (226).
A total 6,211 cases are listed for the Pfizer-BioNTech bivalent booster vaccine (tozinameran, famtozinameran) that targets the original strain of SARS-CoV-2 and the Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants. Most cases are from Germany (1,122), followed by Spain (907), and France (550).
A total 544,008 cases are listed for the AstraZeneca-Oxford vaccine with the most listed in Germany (54,374), followed by Austria (41,269), and the Netherlands (37,994).
A total 370,165 cases are listed for the Moderna vaccine (elasomeran). Most are from Germany (64,484), followed by the Netherlands (49,792), and France with 33,904.
A total 7,041 cases are listed for the Moderna bivalent booster vaccine (elasomeran, imelasomeran) that targets the original strain of SARS-CoV-2 and the BA.1 subvariant. Most are from the Netherlands (3,418), followed by Spain (63), and Germany (42).
A total 302 cases are listed for the Moderna bivalent booster vaccine (elasomeran, davesomeran) that targets the original strain of SARS-CoV-2 and the Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants. Nine cases are listed for Germany and for Norway along with five cases in Italy and five in Ireland, but further data for individual countries is not available.
A total 70,953 cases are listed for the Janssen Biotech vaccine. Most are from the Netherlands (15,072), followed by Germany with 11,949, and Austria (11,201).
A total 1,560 cases are listed for the Novavax vaccine. Most are from Germany (983), followed by Italy with 160 cases, and France with 109.
A total 28 cases are listed for the Valneva vaccine. Fifteen cases are listed for Germany, nine for Austria, and four for Italy.
Two cases are reported for the VidPrevtyn Beta vaccine, developed by Sanofi Pasteur, but the location of the reports isn’t given.
